Who is responsible

Leon Sevaughn DeMaxim runs CSMax until a business is registered. Contact: support@csmax.app. [LEON: legal business name and mailing address]

What we store

• Your account: your email address and a scrambled form of your password. We never store the password itself.
• A sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in.
• The videos you upload.
• What you type: your request, file names, the moments you ask for, revision notes, your saved style and any feedback.
• The clips we make for you.
• Your credit balance and any referral linked to your account.
• A short record each time you send a request, an upload or a revision: the time, your account number and the request number. Not your words.

Where it is kept

The app runs on the owner's own computer and not on a cloud service. [LEON: confirm where files and the database live at launch, and whether a cloud host is used]

Who sees it

• The owner, through the app's one owner account.
• You see only your own requests and clips.
• The owner uses AI assistants to help with the work. They can read your request, your notes and what is said in your video through the app's tools.
• We never sell your data.

AI services

Parts of the work use AI services. When Autopilot is switched on (it is off unless the owner turns it on), the words spoken in your video with their times, your request note, the moments you asked for, your saved style and your revision notes are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to help pick and adjust moments. Your video file is not sent for this. Text from you or your video is treated as data, not as instructions.

The app code also has support for other services: an OpenAI model option, ElevenLabs for voice, a Modal cloud option for heavy steps (which would send the video file there), and a Notion copy of the request board (your email address and file names only). [LEON: confirm which of these are switched on at launch, remove the ones that are not, and name every provider that is]

Using your data to improve CSMax

If you opt in, we use which suggested clips you keep or cut to improve CSMax's picks. It is off by default, you can turn it off at any time, and you can ask us to delete it.

How long we keep it

This is how the app will behave at launch. The numbers are drafts.

• Uploaded footage is deleted 30 days after the delivery it was used for. Draft
• Finished clips are kept 90 days after delivery. Draft
• You can delete earlier, from your page or by email to support@csmax.app.
• A retention job that does this is being built and starts as a dry run, so it may not be active on day one.

Deleting your data

Email support@csmax.app from the address on your account and say what to delete.

Marketing email

Marketing email is a separate opt-in, off by default. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe.

Posting and logins

CSMax never posts for you and never asks for your social media logins. You download your clips and post them yourself.

Age

CSMax is for people 18 or older [LEON: minimum age, drafted as 18+].
